After watching the "7 1/2 Lifelong Learning Habits" presentation, it has become evident to me that I (fortunately) possess many of these habits. Whenever I was a child, I started playing the piano at an early age. This allowed me to "view problems as challenges" as well as gave me numerous opportunities to "teach others." I would say that my strength would be beginning a project with the end in site. At the beginning of a course or large project or anything new I begin, I am always able to see the end and plan accordingly. I am able to pace myself in a way that does not stress me out as long as I strictly adhere to the plan.

My weakness definitely lies in having confidence in myself as a competent, effective learner. It is quite easy to look at all of the problems one finds along the way and get frustrated (and even feel stupid sometimes). By consciously reminding myself that I am just learning, it will help me to continue to have faith that the outcome will be a good thing.
